Maria Pelusi is a Research Specialist for the Jefferson Project at Lake George. Maria has previously worked with water quality sensors during her time at Clarkson University, in which she studied spatial changes in physicochemical properties throughout the St. Lawrence River. In addition, she has experience using fluorescent water quality sensors as indicators of point and non-point sources of pollution in the St. Lawrence River watershed. She has now transitioned to a Sensor Technician for the Jefferson Project's innovative sensor network and aids in the monitoring of seasonal water quality patterns.
